A Waldorf Inspired Early Learning School
Division Danner Corporation
Meet our Team of Educators
We believe that the strength of our program is in the dedication of our teaching staff. Our teachers are trained Early Childhood Development professionals and work to help each child meet age appropriate benchmarks. We support our teachers with training, resources, and freedom to create a unique learning experience for children. We provide many opportunities for teachers to share ideas and grow professionally. Our teachers create a caring and nurturing atmosphere to foster each child's creativity and positive self-image. Our teachers have 10-20+ years of experience and have one or multiple degrees in the Early Learning Field. Many of our teachers have called Little Jack's their family from 5-20 years!

offered at many developmental levels. I also believe in providing an environment that allows children to grow through gardens, orchards, physical activities, exploration and creation. I believe in creating friendships amongst the children and families that last for years beyond LJC. I believe it's important to not only encourage learning but the love of learning, and most important to succeed.
In my spare time I love to read, sing, garden, play with interior design, event planning along with traveling. I've been married to Jack for 30 years, have four children, and 4 grandchildren. I feel deeply honored to be a part of each family that has become our LJC community.
Founder: Irene Danner
I opened Little Jack's Corner in 2000 with the plan to provide affordable childcare and a development center for the employees of Danner Corp. In 2015 LJC became a Waldorf inspired school. To love and practice patience with children is a truly spiritual journey.
I believe every child deserves a physical environment that is safe, clean, healthy and oriented to children. I believe classrooms should be arranged to offer challenging play and learning choices

I enjoy traveling, photography, music, being creative, but most of all spending time with my family.
I'm committed to providing a holistic approach for children and their families during the critical early learning years. Providing an atmosphere where children have a voice, and what they have to say is valued is also of great importance to me. Working in the Early Childhood field is a passion of mine, and I absolutely love it!

decorating my home, shopping, and listening to music. I enjoy working with children because they learn and grow so quickly in the first years. It's special to watch them form their first words, connections with their peers and educators, and to begin strengthening their large and fine motors skills through play.

I am currently attending Green River College and working towards earning my Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education. I was first introduced to Little Jack's Corner when I did my practicum at LJC. I'm happy to now be a part of the LJC team as one of the Lead Teachers in the Preschool 1 classroom.
I was born in the Philippines and moved to Washington when I was 7 years old. I'm also bilingual! I became an Auntie at an early age, and it intrigued me to pursue more experiences of working and building connections with children. On my free time, I enjoy reading books, creating art and spending time with family.

Hi, wonderful children and families! I would first like to say that I'm so
excited to meet and get to know all of you.
I've been married for 10 years, and I have two incredible boys. My oldest
is 9 years old and my youngest is 4 years old. My favorite is color is
purple. I love to think positively and have a divergent mindset. I love
music and the sound of water because it calms me. I enjoy building
memorable moments with family and friends that will last a lifetime.
I have my AAS in Early Childhood Education and an currently in pursing my BAS in Infant Early Childhood Mental Health. I love working with children because I enjoy being a side-by-side learner with them. I strongly believe that children are our future and what better way to make that future better than by helping shape and nurture them into being the best they can be. My Philosophy of teaching is to let the children's interests be my guide, plan my teaching around that, while valuing the importance of play.
